As a beneficiary of Latiwa projects, I have been empowered in various ways. Latiwa projects has given me a platform to showcases my craft and creativity to a wider audience.

It has also pushed me beyond my creative limit, and given me the opportunity to share the knowledge I have acquired to people who are in dire need of it.

I am the owner of Kouture Klan Design, the designer behind the Girls Empowerment Projects and trained 20 girls in sewing and fashion design.

My name is Nnenna Chibueze and I am proud to be part of the Latiwa projects.

What attracted me to LDF in the first place as a volunteer was the passion and sincerity of the organisers in doing Charity. They choose projects that really impact the poor, especially for women and children.

Also the team empowers their fellow women in their areas of speciality, like myself as a Building Engineer by giving me the opportunity to construct the building projects at the Vine Heritage Home, Kuje (funded by the German Embassy) and the tailoring shop (funded by Poland).

As they say at LDF: “Together…Stronger!”

I am Nancy Iwuji, Building Engineer and Manager at Muchonaza Investment Ltd.
